Please take note of the details below as they are important to make sure your child has an easy transition into each season they play.
Teams & Individuals Welcome!
Individual players or small groups are welcome. We will help you find a team OR fill your team where possible.
To nominate a team, Click on the relevant Junior link below. If you are entering a team, please send a list of your players via email to townsvillesouth@oztag.com. Minimum 11 players per team. 8 players on the field. Competitive mixed teams (ages 10 and above) MUST have a min of 3 girls on the field they cannot be substituted for a boy ie max of 5 boys on the field at one time.
Full junior teams are 11+ players. Team Managers to register their child and create the team name. Choose 'I am already in a team' during the online registration process and create the team.
Individuals and Small Groups of less than 10 players choose 'Place me on a team' and then list any friends first & last names so that we can keep the players together.
Please DO NOT create a team name unless you are the Team Manager and have 10+ confirmed players.
Please DO NOT register your child into a team without the Team Managers approval first.
Representative Player Policy -
To help maintain fair competition and support the development and confidence of all players, no team is permitted to have more than five 2026 State Cup representative players on their team list (if playing in their standard age division). *EDIT We have not been able to achieve this in a few of our age divs due to logistics of the fields available. As such we will be looking to have grading in some ages after we see results
Teams wishing to include more than five State Cup representative players will be required to play two divisions higher than their age group. This ensures a more balanced competition and helps create a positive experience for all teams involved.
In some cases, exceptions may be considered. Team Managers must email the full team list to townsvillesouth@oztag.com to request a review.

Divisions, Scores and Medals
Scores are officially recorded from the Under 10s division and up. Younger age divisions are considered non-competitive, with the focus placed on skill & rule development, participation and enjoyment of the game. (under 6s-under 9s). From under 10s and up, teams compete in the competitive division, ONLY the Grand Final winners and Runners-up will receive medals

Season 3 Kick off will be 5.00pm
Dates and times may change due to weather or matters beyond our control. If games need to be caught up due to weather, this may be done on a night or a weekend other than the night allocated below. i.e., Super Sundays.

Cost
- $95 per player for each season played - team must have a minimum of 11 players, or pay the equivalent
- $25 Yearly Subscription fee (one payment aunally)

Competitive Mixed Teams ( 10+ Yrs old)

Season Length
Season consists of 10 Rounds.
School Holidays
We DO play through the school holidays.
Uniform
Only Official Oztag shorts/tights to be worn during games. Players may be asked to leave the field if this requirement is not met. Team shirts can be sourced from external suppliers.
